Owner and founder of Parkwood Medical Centre

Dr Sandi Kuper qualified at University of Cape Town  in 1992. She did her Internship at Groote Schuur Hospital and Somerset hospital and worked in Surgery and Paediatrics. 

She started the Parkwood Medical Centre practice in 1998 after having worked in New Zealand , England and Scotland in General Medicine, Family practice, and Paediatrics. 

She started the practice with the aim of creating a wholistic healing centre for families, young adults, children and the elderly 

She also has over the years discounted her rates for the needy as she believes firmly in giving back to the community. 

Her strong love for children directed her to look for doctors with paediatric interests 

She ran a medical nutrition clinic at the practice for many years dealing with optimizing medical conditions through correct nutrition (cholesterol issues , blood pressure , renal issues etc) 

Since the Urbanization and densification of Rosebank and Killarney areas the focus has been shifting to incorporate and accommodate business people working nearby. 

She works with a strong team of empathic competent experienced doctors , psychologists, councilors, a physiotherapist and a nursing sister. 

She now plays an administrative role, leaving the care and treatment of her patients in the capable hands of the doctors. 

Her outside interests include fine art, printmaking, and trail running and her passion for karate keeps her fit
